America West’s Phoenix Club Combines Luxury with Function
VIP Lounge opens
Phoenix, Arizona: The America West Airlines Phoenix Club VIP Lounge opened in September 1989, with a second club opening in 1988. The two have enjoyed continued growth since then and were relocated in 1990 to the newly constructed Barry M. Goldwater Terminal 4.
America West Airlines’ members-only “Phoenix Club” airport lounges offer a relaxing airport oasis for business and leisure travelers, with a wide range of amenities in a comfortable contemporary environment. In addition to enjoying membership privileges at America West’s two primary Phoenix Club locations at the airline’s main hub in Phoenix, club members receive additional access to select airport lounge clubs around the world.
