Road Trips
Cross-country adventures on the world's highways
Jetting from destination to destination saves time I can spend when I reach where I'm going - but sometimes it's not about getting there fast. Sometimes the journey is as important as the destination. And sometimes, it's more important. Road trips can be more than just a family trek, you can take motorcycle road trips & lets not forget about football.
Since the first time my parents packed me into the back of their station wagon, I've been an avid roadtripper. A month-long trek to the Canadian Maritimes with no firm itinerary? No problem. One unscheduled and much-needed overnight break turned out to be a blessing - we woke up the next morning to a flat tire. We discovered the true measure of trust when the mechanic allowed me to leave his garage with my newly fixed tire to fetch my wallet from the hotel. “No collateral necessary ma'am, I trust you...”
Send us your stories (and pictures!) and we'll publish them here. If you're writing to tell us about a great coffee shop or kitschy craft store, make sure you include the address (and phone number if you have it) so your fellow travelers can check it out on their travels.
